| Description: | Title: Technical Lead – Software Development (Integration) Reports To: Manager of SW Development Location: South Bay Company: Public SUMMARY Our client is seeking a Technical Lead, Software Development (Integration) to provide application architecture leadership to its Data Integration team. Qualified candidates will have industry experience architecting and developing integration applications based on service-oriented architecture (SOA). Candidates must have solid architecture, design, specification, development and testing skills, honed through multiple development cycles from inception to release. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Designing, developing and testing enhancements to existing integration services • Architecting, designing, developing and testing new SOA integration applications • Architecting and designing new data models and enhancing existing data models • Providing technical guidance and specifications to other team members • Collecting requirements and documenting high quality specifications and architecture documents • Adhere to company's software development policy and procedures KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: • 2+ years architecture and design of integration applications, preferably medical and 5-10 years Java software development experience, including J2EE and SOA • In-depth understanding of web services and medical data transactions using HL7/SOAP and knowledge of HL7 protocol • Good knowledge and experience with IDE's such as Netbeans and Eclipse, XML, UML Tools such as Magic Draw, XML Tools such as XmlSpy, Configuration Management Tools such as SVN • ESB architecture, JMS, BPEL, SPRING, JDBC, Hibernate or other ORM solutions • Applications Servers such as Glassfish and JBoss • OO principles, web application design patterns. • Must have excellent test and integration test skills EDUCATION: B.S. degree in Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline is preferred |
