| Description: | Position Title: Clinical Field Specialist Reports To: Sr. Clinical Field Specialist Location: South Bay Company: Public General Summary: Provide pre-sale and post-sale customer education and clinical support of company products and their applications. Have total familiarity with the Device GMP Regulations and the companies' Quality Systems requirements and assures that these are followed. Essential Functions: " Provides product evaluation support in hospitals and other medical facilities. " Delivers post-sales installation training and customer retention activities. " Responsible for maintaining disposables utilization and expanding clinical application within existing users " Responsible for disposable sales to existing system users. " Assists with product training for field Sales Representatives. " Support tradeshow and other marketing activities. " Complete required administrative activities. " Provides customer feedback to Marketing. Skill Requirements: " Ability to utilize/develop tools including database, spreadsheet(s), email or any other means available to effectively perform the required task(s). " Ability to calmly interact with angry customers. To understand, handle and escalate customer problems in a timely manner. " Excellent follow through skills, interpersonal skills, hard working, a self-starter and problem solver. Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy. " Positive attitude, responsible, dependable, reliable and dedicated. " Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Able to perform multiple tasks efficiently. " Strong data entry, written and verbal skills. " Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Education/Training/Experience Requirements: " Minimum 2 years related work experience. " Commercial applications experience a plus. " Must be willing and able to travel 80%. " Must have thorough knowledge and experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Excel and Word. " Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. " Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. " Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. " Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required. " Certificates and Licenses: No certifications needed " Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
